HOLY HEADWINDS BATMAN!!!
A 13 mile "L" shaped out and back course in Eaton, Ohio. A slight gradual uphill and dead into the 23 MPH winds on the way out, with a nice little short 4% climb at the 4.5 mile mark. With the headwinds it felt like a beyond category climb.
Race #1 - Cat 4/5 3rd place, 31:29, 8th fastest time overall. 24.8 MPH avg speed
Race #2 - Masters 50-59, 2nd place, 31:20, 7th fastest time overall 24.9 avg speed
Riding at 32-36 mph with the tailwinds, I now know what it feels like to be a pro on a "medical program".
