Hot, tough first CX race of the season. Cleveland stacks their fields like IHOP stacks their hotcakes. Those guys are fast and unforgiving. The trail was a majority single track with tight turns around the boy scout camp. There were very few fast straights as they were all uphill or after sandtraps. I crashed, then crashed getting up and lost so many spots I just ran the race at my own pace. My tubbies started to go and I had to pit. After a quick change I was off, but hardly had any power left.
It was great to get that bad race out of the way first.
