Block O Crit and Ohio Jr Crit Championship

Challenged the 3/4 and 4/5 field to a hell of a race. Tried to establish a break in the 3/4 race, had a lap out front. Sat off the back for the rest and tried to move up with two to go. Wrong spot, wrong time. Went right to the back. Oh well. Still very fun. 20th in the 3/4 race.

I put a lot of effort in to the 3/4 race so I wasn't sure how the 4/5 race would go. Again, I tried to get a break going. Daisuke went with me, but couldn't pull around so we were caught. I then went for a prime sprint and won. After that I was pooped, however I wanted to do good. I didn't have it and just sat in and clowned around for a few laps. Racing bikes is fun. 21st in the 4/5 race.

Tough day. Getting over a sinus infection, and not many hard miles in the legs at this point. Hung in with the field. Avoided some crashes. Sat up on the last lap and coasted in. That pretty much sums it up.

Block O Crit-Hung w/pack for 23 min., then a surge and got dropped. Still finished, pleased w/how I did. Looking forward to the next one.
