There were a lot of individuals representing their teams in the women's race. So this basically meant that not too many people wanted to take a strong pull and the pace got really slow at some points. Then whenever someone like me or my old sprinting friend for Marion was on the front, the other girls attacked every time. Fortunately none of the attacks lasted, because everyone was wanting to take their chances with the final sprint. It was a fast one to the finish line and Abbey creatively outsprinted the rest of us. Oh, congratulations to Savage junior Adrianna for finishing strong with the rest of the women's field.
