Great job to SH boys that sat on the front when I countered a Jeff German attack. The break stuck until the end with 30+ second gap. I had one guy (voengoeff kit??) on my wheel for about the 20 laps, who was not willing to work at all. So I pulled him around all day so that he could pass me before the line. What a joke. At the finish line I called this guy a few choice words (the girlfriend reprimanded me the whole way home). Sorry if I offended anybody. I have a scheduled timeout in the corner as punishment. |

The race was a blast. The promoter changed the race format to a 30-minute crit followed by a miss and out. Missed the winning break of three riders because I over cooked turn two. Was bridging up to the break and went flying out of turn two into a nice flat grassy churchyard. No curb thank God!!! Then Breakaway sat on the front and shut it down. Anyway, I took fourth by out sprinting the remainder of the field during the miss and out format. I did win an R & J T-shirt and Bologna gift certificate prime. |

Great race today. Craig did a nice job getting away from the field and we did our best to keep it that way. Thanks to Jim for helping me with my sprint. Those drills have helped me a lot and today I passed a few people at the end instead of getting passed. Thanks for all the great teamwork from everyone today, it was a blast. |

Jeff Yencher took a long hard pull about halfway through the race, I came around on the right full throttle with visions of making something stick and they rang the prime bell, so much for my attack. Just bad timing. Craig countered once I was caught and his break stuck. It was fun. Good team racing. Nice job craig. This is my first weekend of racing this season and one things for sure: I definately need to race more to get used to the crit pace. I lasted a whole 15 minutes in the cat 3/4 race. |
